Agent Provocateur's new couture line to launch during New York's Fashion Week
The PR Firm, People's Revolution, is orchestrating a saucy show aimed at drawing in droves of women and men during the upcoming shows at New York Fashion Week. Agent Provocateur Soiree, the British lingerie brand's new couture line that will hit NY, Miami and LA stores in November will debute the collection on September 9th. The line will retail from $190 to $4,900...
The collection will include looks that feature French leavers' lace hand encrusted with Swarovski crystals and hand-studded Italian leather. Creative director and founder of Agent Provocateur, Joe Corre, had this to say about the line... "Made in the couture tradition, it is a collection of the best made, highest quality pieces aimed at a customer for who money is no object, and who is looking for something for a special, fantasy evening." Expect nothing less on September 9th...

New York Fashion Week Schedule taking shape....
The men's schedule for NY Fashion Week is taking shape; the biggest surprise so far is 3.1 Phillip Lim which will hold its first stand-alone presentation for men's wear separating it from women's. Yigal Azrouel, decided to the opposite, bringing his women's and men's lines back together. Despite the excitement that is NY Fashion Week, the event lost Calvin Klein, Z Zegna and an additional 15 labels that presented menswear last season..

Escada's Going Down
Escada has pretty much exhauseted every chance for survival and is expected to file for bankruptcy this week after bondholders rejected a plan that would have allowed the brand to trade old debts for new notes. If the bond swap had been approved, Escada would have received a loan of 13 million euros and a capital increase of at least 29 million euros...

KRINKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
The great thing about Krink is their paints are solid and consistent. Most recently, many of his colors have been used to create art with running ink to create a more liquefied feeling. They’re difficult to fade and easy to apply so it’s hard to find reasons not to buy them. The new colors are offered in metallic green, metallic purple and metallic blue. Your local retailers should have them soon, but check Turntable Lab too because they carry the line as well.

Paris Haute Couture Fall 2009: Christian Dior
Christian Dior's Couture Fall 2009 collection proved to be one not built for the shy or timid. John Galliano dazzled his audience by displaying his take on the art of dressing down. There were plenty of exposed bustier tops, garter belts, bras and 'slips' under barely there skirts, jackets and dresses...
The show was held at Dior's flagship store in Paris.
