Karl Lagerfield, creative director at Chanel, recently announced that he will be presenting his couture collection at sunset during Couture Week in Paris next month. Just recently, the designer held his show for Resort Collection Week 2010 at sunset in Venice; he stated that sunset shows are reminiscent of "the golden age of haute couture" and should be "like a celebration". The show will be held on July 7 under the glass roof of the Grand Palais glass exhibition.
